CDL Delivery Driver ($24/hr)

Job Duties:

• Drive box delivery trucks or vans (weight less than 26,000 pounds) in efficient and safe manner
• Deliver products over established routes or within established territory
• Load / unload merchandise at customer’s place of business
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers
• Provide positive representation of company with safe and responsible driving
• Maneuver at varying speeds in heavy traffic, inclemate weather or tight loading dock areas
• Perform pre-trip, in-route and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Ensure equipment defects are reported immediately.
• Keep vehicle interior is clean and orderly
• Promptly report all accidents or delays involving company equipment and merchandise
• Submit paperwork and documents required by Federal D.O.T. in timely manner
• Have customers sign receipts for goods and receive payment for cash-on-delivery
• Turn in receipts, payments and delivery records

Working Conditions:

• Long hours sitting, standing, bending, walking, stretching and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Will be paired with driver trainer to learn routes
• Required to load / unload own delivery truck
• Machinery operation requires steel toe boots
• Experience/ Training/ Education Requirements:
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Hold a valid HI CDL driver’s license
• Able to read, write and speak English,
• 1-2 years of previous driving experience (delivery vehicle experience preferred)
• Experience using forklift and electric pallet jack.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7a - 4p or until finished)
*Possible overtime and earlier start times (must be flexible with business demands)
Job Location: Dillingham - Kalihi
Starting Pay: $24 per hour

** WEEKLY PAY ** Health Insurance and Paid Holidays available **

** $200 Referral Bonus (w/ 80hrs worked) **

** Every 1,560hrs worked you will receive 40hrs BONUS pay **
