CDL Driver Class A Lowboy - Landoll Heavy Equipment

We are a leading construction company with projects across South Florida. With a strong commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism, we are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team and handle the transport of heavy equipment using lowboy trailers.
Position Summary:

As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy construction equipment to and from job sites using lowboy trailers and other modes of transportation as needed. This role requires a dependable professional with a strong work ethic and at least 5 years of experience in heavy-equipment transport.
Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain lowboy trucks and trailers for equipment transport
• Load and unload various types of heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders, etc.)
• Ensure proper securing of loads in compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
• Adherent to all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 5 years of experience transporting heavy equipment
• Experience operating and loading/unloading heavy machinery
• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
