Cement Mason Or Asphalt Rakers Union or Non Union

**SANTAMARIA CONCRETE IS HIRING – EXPERIENCED ASPHALT RAKERS / ASPHALT LABORERS**

Santamaria Concrete is looking for skilled **Asphalt Rakers and Asphalt Laborers with at least 2 years of asphalt experience** for current and upcoming public works, utility restoration, and paving projects throughout the Bay Area and Northern California.

**You do NOT have to currently be in the union.** If you have the right experience and are interested in joining the Laborers Union, we want to hear from you.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:**

• Minimum **2 years of hands-on asphalt experience**
• Experience raking and spreading hot mix asphalt
• Able to rake asphalt evenly and work asphalt to proper grade
• Experience shoveling and placing asphalt by hand
• Experience working around paving equipment and asphalt crews
• Experience using plate compactors, jumping jacks, saws, and other small equipment
• Able to perform asphalt patching and utility restoration work
• Comfortable performing physical construction work throughout the shift
• Concrete, demolition, grading, or utility experience is a plus
• Must be able to work well with a crew and follow direction

**DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED**

• Must have a **current valid driver's license**
• **Class A CDL is a plus**
• Reliable transportation required

Applicants should be dependable and willing to travel to different project locations throughout the Bay Area and Northern California.

We are looking for people with **real asphalt field experience. This is not an entry-level position.**
