Syndicate Bike Shop is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, certified bicycle mechanic to join our service team.

We are a road- and triathlon-focused shop and an authorized dealer for Cervélo, TIME, and Argon 18. Our service department works on everything from first bikes and family bikes to $15,000 race machines. The right candidate will be comfortable providing dependable everyday service as well as precision work on high-end builds, electronic groupsets, race-day setups, wheels, and specialty components.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, repair, and assemble a wide range of bicycles
Complete high-end road and triathlon builds with close attention to detail
Install, adjust, and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic drivetrains
Perform race preparation, wheel service, routine maintenance, and safety inspections
Clearly explain repair recommendations and options to customers
Maintain accurate service records and organized work areas
Help ensure repairs are completed correctly and on schedule
Deliver friendly, professional service to experienced athletes, families, and first-time riders
Qualifications

Professional bicycle-service experience

Bicycle-mechanic certification or comparable professional training
Strong knowledge of modern road and triathlon bicycles
Experience with electronic groupsets and hydraulic braking systems
Ability to complete repairs and builds accurately and efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Mountain-bike service experience is a plus
