Job description:
We’re looking for a Certified Massage Therapist with 500 hours + of schooling from an accredited school to practice a range of therapeutic modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial release. Other modalities and training such as CranioSacral, Thai, hot stone, cupping, NMT and Shiatsu are welcome! We service a range of clients and conditions including seniors, adolescence, stationary workers, service industry, repetitive stress injuries, chronic pain, athletes, and stress relief. Our membership model draws in regular monthly clients for our massage therapists. We provide our therapists with Biotone massage products and scrub uniforms.
Additional duties:
- Sanitize table and room in between clients and clean up after shift
- Personal preparation of oils, creams, hot stones and cupping supplies
- SOAP charting for each client
- Engage clients on self-care practices and give service suggestions
- Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program; current licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in a combination of some or all of the following modalities Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health treatments.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and education on pain management strategies.
- Experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices.
- $32-35 per massage hour
- $15 per non booked massage time including transitions between services
- $15 extra per Shiatsu, Thai body work, Cupping or Hot Stone massage (other add-on services may be considered)
- $15 extra per Auto Insurance or Worker’s Comp massage
- $5 extra per Prenatal massage
- $4 extra per aromatherapy or therapeutic topical add on
- Reliable tips
- Two evening shifts per week
- One weekend shift per week
- Minimum of 3.5 massage hours per shift and 12 hours per week

- Receives one week of PTO after employed for one year
