Join our dynamic team as a Labor Compliance / Certified Payroll Specialist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to labor laws, project-specific wage requirements, and regulatory standards across our operations.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of compliance management, payroll processing, and regulatory affairs within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing certified payroll reports, ensuring accurate documentation of labor hours, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA, Davis-Bacon Act, and other relevant statutes.
Your expertise will help uphold the integrity of our projects while supporting seamless communication between project teams, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in accordance with federal and state regulations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Review project labor compliance documentation to verify adherence to prevailing wage laws and contractual obligations.
Maintain detailed records of employee hours, wages, fringe benefits, and deductions using compliance management software.
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies related to labor hours or wage calculations.
Monitor ongoing projects for compliance with OSHA safety standards and other health regulation policies.
Conduct audits of payroll data to identify potential risks or non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Stay current on updates to federal (e.g., Davis-Bacon Act), state (e.g., ISO ), and international (e.g., EMA regulations) regulations affecting labor practices and payroll procedures.
Assist in the development of training materials related to regulatory compliance analysis and best practices for project teams.
Support regulatory submissions related to labor compliance projects and ensure all documentation aligns with ICH guidelines for quality assurance.
Skills
Deep understanding of FDA regulations, drug regulation policies, and biomedical regulatory compliance standards.
Strong knowledge of clinical trials processes, research protocols, and quality assurance practices within regulated environments.
Expertise in regulatory compliance management software and data analysis tools for monitoring project adherence.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance frameworks including chemistry, manufacturing & controls (CMC) procedures.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
Proficiency in preparing detailed regulatory submissions and conducting risk management assessments.
Solid writing skills for preparing clear reports, audit findings, and compliance documentation aligned with ICH guidelines.
Knowledge of health regulation policies such as EMA regulations and international drug approval processes.
Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify potential compliance issues or process improvements.
Effective communication skills for liaising with regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external partners on compliance matters.
