Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Automotive Safety and Emissions Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle safety systems and emissions standards, along with excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform thorough safety inspections in compliance with Virginia state regulations.
-Conduct emissions tests using approved equipment and methods.
-Identify and document any deficiencies or repairs needed for compliance.
-Provide clear explanations to customers regarding inspection results and necessary repairs.
-Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests conducted.
-Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to standards.
-Assist with other automotive services as needed.

Qualifications:

-Valid Virginia Safety and Emissions Inspector certification.
-Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

50% Commission-based pay structure. Can makes as much as $80,000 to $120,000 a year.
