Chimney & Hearth Technician - Deer Park Fireplace

Deer Park Fireplace keeps technicians busy year-round - sweeping and maintenance in the off season, stove and Fireplace installs when its busy, construction and repair in between. If you want steady hours and a paycheck that doesn't disappear every spring, we want to talk to you.
We're a chimney and hearth company doing chimney sweeping and maintenance chimney and fireplace construction and repair, roofing and flashing, repair and sales and service of wood, pellet, and gas. We've been growing, and we need hands-on people to grow with us.
You'll be out in the field - on roofs, in basements, and everywhere in between - keeping chimneys, stoves, and fireplaces safe and running right. Some days its a routine sweep other days it's a full chimney rebuild or a tricky stove repair.No two days look exactly the same, and that's the point.
What you'll do

• Perform chimney sweeping, inspections, an maintenance
• Build new chimneys and repair existing ones
• install and repair wood, gas, and pellet stoves, inserts,and fireplaces
• diagnose issues and recommend the right fix to customers
• roof installations, leak diagnosis and roof and flashing repair
• keep the company vehicle and provided tools in good working order
• represent us well - friendly, professional, and reliable on every job

We're looking for

• Experience preferred - but we'll train the right person with the right attitude
• Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and in all kinds of weather
• Mechanically inclined, good with your hands, good with people
• Valid driver's license (you'll be driving a company vehicle)
• Reliable, on time, amd takes pride in doing the job right

Schedule and pay

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Pay: $25 - $35/hour depending on experience, plus commission/bonus opportunities
• Company vehicle while at work, tools provided (leave your tools at home if you like)
• Benefits: PTO, vacation, retirement
