Chimney Technician/Sales Rep - Commission based - HUGE POTENTIAL

LA Chimney Services is hiring a reliable Service Technician for the upcoming busy season.

We provide chimney and fireplace-related home services throughout the Los Angeles area. We provide training and the equipment needed to perform the work.

The job consists of driving to approximately 3–5 customer appointments per day and performing a full fireplace/chimney inspection. This may include going on roofs and working around soot, ash, and fireplaces.

After the inspection, you will explain any issues you find to the customer, recommend the work needed to keep the fireplace and chimney safe and in good working condition, and present available repair or service options. When the customer approves the work, you will complete the job using the proper tools and equipment.

Most appointments should take approximately 1.5–2 hours or less, depending on the work required.

We are looking for someone responsible who will show up to every scheduled appointment, perform thorough inspections, confidently present legitimate service recommendations, provide professional and clean work, and treat customers respectfully.

This is primarily a seasonal position. Our busiest season is October through February, and there is strong earning potential during this period. There may also be an opportunity for continued work as the company grows.

What we're looking for:

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working on ladders and roofs
Comfortable getting dirty and working around soot
Sales or customer-service experience strongly preferred
Mechanically capable and comfortable using tools
Able to work independently after training
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Comfortable working inside customers' homes
Chimney, fireplace, HVAC, appliance, roofing, masonry, construction, handyman, or similar trade experience is a plus

Schedule: Sundays–Fridays

Compensation: Paid training + 25% commission. Strong earning potential during chimney season.
