CLASS 8 DIESEL TRUCK MECHANIC – FULL DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR

Desert Eagle Transportation is looking for an experienced Class 8 Diesel Truck Mechanic for our busy Las Vegas shop.

We need a real diagnostic mechanic — not just a parts changer. The right person should be able to diagnose a truck from start to finish, identify the actual problem, and complete the repair.

Experience required with:

• Class 8 diesel trucks
• Full computer diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Cummins, International/Navistar and Volvo engines
• Aftertreatment systems – DPF, DEF, SCR, DOC and NOx sensors
• Regen and emissions-related diagnostics
• Engine and fuel-system diagnostics and repair
• Electrical diagnostics, wiring and sensors
• Air brake systems
• Air leaks and pneumatic systems
• Cooling systems
• HVAC and A/C diagnostics and repair
• Suspension and steering
• Drivetrain, transmission and differential issues
• Preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
• Ability to read fault codes, wiring diagrams and diagnostic data

We are looking for someone experienced, dependable and capable of working independently in a busy commercial truck shop.

You must be able to diagnose the cause of a problem instead of simply replacing parts until the problem goes away.
