Class A CDL Driver

Established excavation and landscape construction company is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Class A CDL Driver for a full-time position. This role includes operating dump trucks and trailers, transporting heavy equipment, and delivering bulk materials to and from job sites.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate dump trucks, trailers, and related equipment
• Load, transport, and unload heavy equipment and bulk materials
• Properly secure equipment and materials before transport
• Confirm that all loads comply with legal weight and securement requirements
• Perform and document required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain daily logs, vehicle inspection reports, mileage records, material receipts, weight tickets, and delivery documentation
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and promptly report mechanical problems or safety concerns
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service when interacting with customers, vendors, and job-site personnel
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• Acceptable driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum six months of relevant commercial driving experience
• Knowledge of and compliance with DOT rules and regulations
• Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials
• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Ability to meet company and customer standards for professionalism and thoroughness
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, overtime, and occasional weekend work as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Additional on-the-job training will be provided to a qualified candidate.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Competitive hourly wage, $30 - $40 per hour, based on experience
