CLASS A DRIVER / YARD & EQUIPMENT FOREMAN

Local construction company is looking for a dependable and experienced Class A Driver / Yard & Equipment Foreman to take responsibility for our yard, tools, equipment, vehicles and jobsite deliveries.

This is not simply a driving position. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the company yard and help ensure our crews have the materials, tools and equipment they need each day. The right person will be organized, mechanically inclined, comfortable operating construction equipment and able to work independently without requiring constant direction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for keeping the company yard, storage areas and tool room clean, organized and operating efficiently
• Prepare, stage and coordinate materials, tools and equipment needed by field crews
• Deliver materials, tools and equipment to local jobsites
• Safely load, secure, transport and unload construction materials and equipment
• Track tools and equipment and help ensure they are returned to their proper locations
• Inspect trucks, trailers and equipment and help keep them clean, serviced and ready for work
• Identify needed maintenance and coordinate or perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Safely operate forklifts and construction equipment as qualified
• Assist with jobsite logistics, equipment operation and general fieldwork when needed
• Maintain an orderly and safe working environment
