Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Class A RV Personal Driver and embark on an exciting journey of delivering exceptional transportation services. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating large recreational vehicles with a focus on comfort, reliability, and professionalism. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with your passion for providing outstanding customer experiences, will ensure every trip is smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A motorhomes and RVs, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load and unload personal belongings or equipment as needed, ensuring secure handling during transit.
Plan and execute efficient routes that consider traffic conditions, road closures, and client preferences to optimize travel time.
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to maintain optimal performance.
Maintain the RV's cleanliness and basic upkeep to ensure a comfortable experience for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding trip details, schedules, and any adjustments needed during travel.
Document trip logs, vehicle maintenance reports, and any incidents or issues encountered during routes.
Skills

Emotional de-escalation tactics (Some of the passengers may be verbal, but on the Autism spectrum)

Reminders to take medication (Some passengers take daily meds)

Help getting meds shipped to the location and/or picked up (Drive to pharmacy and pick them up)

Heimlich skills preferred (some passengers may have asthma)

Light help with dressing (socks and shoes are difficult, and some costumes need help zipping, and/or lacing)

Some help with food prep. preferred (or at least watch to ensure passenger safety)

Some help with shopping (help picking out groceries, help estimating total cost, help when using self-check-out, help carrying/ loading groceries)

Help finding a scooter/wheelchair while at grocery stores (some of the passengers may be able to walk, but only for about 200 feet at a time before needing to rest, or their muscles give out)

Help finding restrooms (Some of the passengers may be semi-incontinent, and may need help cleaning up at times, disposing of incontinence supplies when accidents happen)

Help organizing space within RV (And possibly ideas to help decorate it, the owner has dreams of making it look like her Cat Circus Castle)

Help with tent set-up for Cat Circus Training and/or performances

Help with paperwork (documents for pet insurance, docs. for vaccination records, docs. for spay/neuter proofing, docs. to show that cats are allergen-free, and docs. to show that they've had their wormer, and other parasite meds are up to date. also docs. to show a business license, to ask for tip money, and ticket money. The owner already has a certified cat training license, but it should be kept in a safe place)

Okay with cats (I plan to adopt 4 kittens, and I do have a product called Pacagen, which is supposed to make the cats 98% allergen free, after using it for 2 weeks.)

Help with holding cats when administering medicine

Good at calmly and quickly relocating cats in case of escape

Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving with a valid Class A license.
Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with confidence and precision.
Familiarity with various vehicle types, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers.
Experience in route driving, load & unload procedures, and delivery operations across diverse terrains.
Ability to handle freight securely while ensuring safety during transport.
Proficiency in operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking and vehicle maintenance. This role is perfect for motivated drivers who thrive on delivering excellence behind the wheel!
