Closet & Garage Organization Installers – San Diego Area (West Coast Building

West Coast Building Solutions Inc is looking for motivated installers to join our residential closet and garage organization team serving the entire San Diego area. We work in private homes and interact directly with homeowners on a daily basis, transforming cluttered spaces into functional, beautiful storage areas.
About the Role

• Install closet and garage organization systems (shelving, cabinets, racks, bins).
• Load, transport, and remove materials and trash from each job site.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and maintain a clean, respectful work environment.
• Work with our team to deliver high-quality, detail-oriented results.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle that can efficiently transport materials and job-site debris (truck, SUV, van, or equivalent; trailer is welcome but not required).
• Must have your own adequate, reliable set of tools suitable for residential installation work.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong references and/or photos of previous installation, handyman, or organization work.
• Self-starter who can follow a project plan, problem-solve on site, and work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in garages and closets, including lifting and moving materials (no attic work required).
• Professional, courteous communication skills and a clean, presentable appearance for working in occupied homes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in handyman work, carpentry, basic construction, or related trades.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, measuring, and safely mounting systems into studs.
• Experience working directly with homeowners or clients in residential settings.

Training for Qualified Installers

• If you already have strong skills in related trades (handyman, carpentry, construction, etc.), we will train you on our specific closet and garage installation methods.
• You’ll learn our layouts, hardware, and finishing standards so your work matches West Coast Building Solutions Inc quality on every project.
• This is ideal for experienced tradespeople who want to apply their skills in a specialized niche (closet and garage organization).

Pay & Schedule

• Competitive pay based on experience and productivity (piece-rate or hourly, to be discussed).
