Superior Skilled Trades is seeking 5-Axis CNC Machinist in the Wilmington, MA area!

WEEKLY PAY! LONG TERM!

PAY: $28-$42/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS: 8–10 hour workdays (40 hours per week)
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday; 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

CNC Machinist Job Description:

Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision components
Perform at-the-machine programming (no full off-line programming required)
Edit and adjust CNC programs (G-code) as needed to ensure proper part production
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
Set up tooling, fixtures, and work-holding for complex 5-axis machining operations
Run production jobs and monitor machine performance to maintain quality and efficiency
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Maintain tight tolerances on complex, multi-axis components
Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time corrections at the machine
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications for CNC Machinist:
3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
Strong experience with 5-axis CNC machine setup, programming, and operation
Ability to program directly at the machine preferred/required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and machining strategies
Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges)
Ability to maintain tight tolerances on complex parts
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50+ lbs unassisted
Must be dependable and able to work independently on assigned jobs

Additional Requirements for CNC Machinist:

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY (must be within commuting distance of Wilmington, MA)
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Drug screening required
Must wear required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and hearing protection
Basic machinist tools and measuring instruments may be required depending on client site
