CNC Operator Trainee - Paid Training, No Experience Needed

Want a skilled trade without student debt? European Stone & Tile Design in Kirkland will pay you to learn CNC programming and operation on a Sasso K600 CNC bridge saw.

We are a custom stone shop, 21 years in business, cutting marble, granite, quartzite, and porcelain for high-end homes on the Eastside. Modern shop: digital templating, CNC, CAD/CAM software.

PAY: $24-$28/hr to start. Trained operators at our shop earn $30-$42/hr.
SCHEDULE: Full-time, day shift, Monday-Friday
BENEFITS: Health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, HSA, life insurance, paid time off

YOUR PATH:

• First 3 months: shop safety, material handling, assisting on the saw, reading drawings
• 3-12 months: CAD/CAM training (Alphacam, AutoCAD), preparing cut files, running jobs with supervision
• Year 2+: independent operator/programmer, raises tied to skills

YOU ARE:

• Comfortable with computers and quick to learn software
• Good with measurements and basic math
• Reliable, on time, careful around heavy material and machinery
• OK with physical shop work and lifting
• A plus: CAD or drafting class, 3D modeling/printing, shop class, robotics, working on cars, building things

No CNC or stone experience needed. We train you, including forklift certification.
