Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD, is looking for a Commercial Body Shop Painter. The Commercial Body Shop Painter is responsible for performing routine or specialized work in the repair and refinishing of hazmat containers and various pieces of equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Use forklift or other industrial powered vehicles to move components into workspace
- Sandblast equipment and components; taping and other prep work as needed
- Mixing of paints as needed
- Clean and maintain all painting equipment, guns, compressors, and booths
- Clean, degrease, and prime component parts and finished products
- Paint completed products with an automotive finish
- Maintain a high quality paint standard
- Assemble and disassemble components and parts as needed
- Maintain accurate computer and written documentation and compliance logs
- Work with parts department for the availability of job-related materials
- Ensure all aspects of painting and sandblasting areas are in compliance
- Provide inventory and inspection reports to management as requested
- Complete other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High School diploma with career technical education.
- Secondary Trade school preferred
- 3+ years prior experience in commercial painting and sandblasting
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Possess a working knowledge of tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools)
- Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire
