Commercial Tile & Marble Contractor | 30+ Years of Excellence
We are a well-established commercial tile and marble contractor with over 30 years of experience and an outstanding reputation for quality, reliability, and craftsmanship. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the commercial construction market by developing new relationships, following up on bid opportunities, and helping secure awarded projects.
This position can be part-time or full-time and is ideal for someone with established relationships in the commercial construction industry, particularly with general contractors, developers, architects, and owners.
Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new commercial accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, owners, and other key decision-makers.
  • Follow up on bid opportunities and maintain regular communication with prospective and existing clients.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with clients to present our company and capabilities.
  • Visit job sites and meet with project teams as needed.
  • Negotiate contracts and assist in closing projects.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline using our CRM.
  • Generate referrals and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with our estimating and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from project award through project completion.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of successful business development or B2B sales experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial tile, stone, marble, or related construction trades is required.
  • Existing relationships with commercial general contractors and developers are highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and close commercial projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
