Here at Idaho Custom Wood Products, we build commercial cabinetry for many general contractors within the Treasure Valley. We are looking for people to work on the production floor in various departments. "Must have cabinet building experience. Working with laminate products, a plus."

Assemblers work with manufactured components (laminate and wood) to form work-in-progress or completed products for various cabinet jobs. They review instructions in blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other technical documents to build finished goods to specifications. Assemblers also gather required materials and maintain production equipment.

Job Overview

You will use power tools and other industrial-grade instruments to bring raw materials closer to the final stage in the production process. You will follow all technical specifications and guidelines to ensure the highest standard of product quality and safety. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to create outputs on par with the company’s standards.

If you have the experience with making molding, we have a 5-head molder. Must be able to set it up, cut/make knives and run various types of molding, etc. This is a one person department. If you have experience in this field of work are knowledgeable of various types of wood, this would be a plus, but this is not full time work as it would be included as an additional task, as needed.

Occasionally we do some finishing. Must have experience in staining and spraying finishes. This is not full time work, would be included as an additional task, as needed.

Job Requirements

Attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Proficient in the use of mechanical and woodworking tools
Can work standing for long periods of time
Physically fit
Previous cabinet building experience, working with laminate
