Commercial Carpenter

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are a growing commercial painting and carpentry contractor looking for a motivated Carpenter who wants more than just a job. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading by example, and is looking to build a long-term career with a company that values reliability, quality, and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
-Coordinate daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
-Perform quality commercial carpentry work while maintaining high safety standards.
-Communicate with foreman and/or project managers regarding job progress and material needs.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
-Ensure work is completed accurately and meets company quality standards.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (SOME OR ALL)
-Metal stud framing
-Drywall installation and finishing
-Acoustical/drop ceilings
-Door, frame, and hardware installation
-Finish carpentry
-Millwork and trim installation
-Bathroom partitions and accessories
-Demolition
-Commercial renovations and tenant fit-outs

QUALIFICATIONS
-Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices.
-Ability to read blueprints and layout work.
-Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
-Ability to pass background check
-Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on ladders and lifts.
-Dependable, organized, and committed to producing quality work.
