COMMERCIAL CARPENTER – FULL-TIME PERMANENT

APEX Construction Systems is looking for experienced Commercial Carpenters to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are looking for dependable, skilled carpenters who take pride in their work and can perform a variety of commercial construction tasks safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general commercial carpentry and construction work

Read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications
Measure, lay out, cut, assemble, and install building materials
Perform framing, blocking, backing, and other rough carpentry work
Install doors, frames, hardware, trim, and other finish carpentry components
Build and install walls, ceilings, platforms, and other structural or architectural components
Perform demolition and removal of existing materials as required
Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and properly
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project requirements and quality standards
Identify construction issues and communicate them to the Foreman or Project Manager
Work with other trades and construction team members to keep projects moving efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and project-specific requirements
Protect company property, tools, equipment, and materials
Complete assigned work in a timely and professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous commercial carpentry or construction experience

Strong knowledge of general carpentry practices and construction methods
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and plans
Ability to accurately measure, lay out, cut, and install materials
Experience using common hand tools and power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a construction crew
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, dependable, and safety-minded
Ability to lift, carry, and work with construction materials and equipment
Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas when required
Own basic carpentry hand tools
Valid driver's license
Framing, finish carpentry, concrete, drywall, doors/hardware, or commercial construction experience is a plus
