DLA Services is a family-owned commercial and industrial service company based in Johnston, RI. We service warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and commercial properties throughout New England.

We’re looking for mechanically inclined people to join the DLA Family. Experience with commercial or garage doors is a bonus, but we’re also interested in automotive technicians, mechanics and maintenance technicians whose skills can transfer into our industry.

If you’re tired of flat-rate automotive work and want to learn something different while still using your mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills, we’d like to talk to you.

What We Work On:

• Commercial overhead and rolling steel doors
• Dock levelers and loading dock equipment
• Door operators and electrical controls
• Vehicle restraints, dock seals and shelters
• Material handling and warehouse equipment
• Racking, shelving and warehouse infrastructure
• Fencing, gates and facility repairs
• Equipment installations and special projects

No two days are exactly the same. One day you may be troubleshooting a commercial door or dock leveler and the next you’re working on an installation or solving an equipment problem for one of our customers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Automotive, garage door, industrial maintenance or similar experience preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn new equipment and skills
• Ability to perform physical work indoors and outdoors
• Dependable and punctual
• Clean driving record required
• Must be at least 18 years old
