Commercial Door Service Technician / Installer

$25–$50 per hour – Depending on Experience

Growing commercial door company is looking for an experienced Commercial Door Service Technician / Installer to join our team.

We are looking for someone with experience in at least one or more areas of the commercial door industry. You do not need to know everything listed below. We are willing to train and expand the skills of someone who already has a good foundation in the trade.

Experience may include:

• Commercial Swing Doors: Storefront/aluminum doors, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, closers, panic hardware, locks, continuous hinges and related hardware.
• Overhead Doors: Sectional doors, rolling steel doors, sheet doors, grilles, operators, springs and related components.
• Automatic Doors: Automatic swing and sliding doors, operators, sensors, controls and troubleshooting.
• Gates & Operators: Commercial gates, operators, photo eyes, safety edges, controls and related equipment.
• Access Control / Low Voltage: Electric strikes, maglocks, card readers, keypads and other access-control equipment.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, mechanically inclined, pays attention to detail and is willing to continue learning.

Depending on experience, the position may include service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, site surveys and assisting with larger projects.

Experienced technicians should be capable of working independently and professionally representing the company in front of customers.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.

Pay & Schedule

$25.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and technical ability.

We operate on a 9/80 schedule, with normal working hours of 6:15 AM–3:45 PM and every other Friday off.

Overtime and on-call opportunities may also be available for qualified technicians.
