Description
Hemco Electrical Services, LLC is hiring an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman for projects throughout Central Florida.
This opening is specifically for an experienced foreman who can supervise a commercial electrical crew, plan work, coordinate with the project team, and complete installations safely and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise electricians, apprentices, and helpers on commercial projects
Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements
Lay out electrical work and provide clear daily direction to the crew
Plan manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and upcoming work
Coordinate daily activities with the project manager, general contractor, inspectors, and other trades
Monitor labor productivity, installation quality, and project schedule
Complete daily reports, timekeeping, safety documentation, and material requests
Identify RFIs, additional work, conflicts, and potential change orders
Communicate project issues to the project manager before they affect cost or schedule
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite
Work alongside the crew when necessary to keep the project moving
Complete punch-list items and assist with project closeout
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum five years of commercial electrical construction experience
Previous experience supervising a commercial electrical crew
Ability to independently read plans, lay out work, and plan installations
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installation methods
Experience with conduit, wire, lighting, devices, panels, distribution equipment, and electrical rooms
Ability to manage manpower and complete work within the labor budget and project schedule
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Basic hand tools appropriate for the position
Ability to travel to jobsites throughout Central Florida
Our projects include commercial remodels, tenant improvements, healthcare facilities, financial facilities, and ground-up construction.
This is a full-time position. Compensation starts at $30-$35 per hour and may be higher depending on experience, knowledge, leadership ability, and the size and complexity of projects previously managed.
