Commercial Electrician / Journeyman Helper / Journeyman – $25–$49+ DOE

**COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIAN / JOURNEYMAN HELPER / JOURNEYMAN**

We are a San Diego-based commercial and residential electrical contractor looking to add experienced electricians to our crew for upcoming projects throughout San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and occasional out-of-state work.

**We are hiring at multiple experience levels. You do NOT have to be a full journeyman to apply.**

We are looking for experienced electrical helpers / journeyman helpers who already have field experience and can work productively as part of a crew. We are also looking for experienced journeyman electricians who can work independently and, at the higher experience level, run work.

**PAY: $25–$49+ PER HOUR DOE**

Pay is based on experience, skill level, and ability.

Higher pay is available for experienced journeymen who can read plans, perform layout, troubleshoot, work independently, and/or run work.

**Weekly pay.**

**WHAT YOU MAY BE DOING:**

• Commercial electrical rough-in and finish
• Installing and bending conduit
• Pulling wire and making up circuits
• Installing lighting, devices, panels, and electrical equipment
• Reading electrical plans and drawings
• Restaurant and tenant-improvement electrical work
• Residential electrical work as needed
• Working with journeymen and other electricians to keep projects moving
• Layout and independent field work for more experienced candidates

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:**

• Previous electrical construction experience
• Commercial experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of conduit, wire pulling, devices, lighting, and electrical installation
• Ability to safely use electrical and construction tools
• Own basic hand tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to take direction and work well as part of a crew

OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain.

**JOURNEYMAN-LEVEL CANDIDATES:**

For our higher-paying positions, we're looking for electricians with approximately 5+ years of commercial experience who can read plans, perform layout, rough and finish independently, install panels and gear, troubleshoot in the field, and complete work without constant supervision.

Experience running work or leading a crew is a plus and will be compensated accordingly.

**TRAVEL:**

Applicants must be willing to work throughout San Diego County and travel to projects in Orange County and Los Angeles as needed.

We also occasionally have out-of-state projects. Travel and hotel accommodations are provided when applicable.

**SCHEDULE & WORK:**

Hours may vary depending on the project and phase of construction. This is project-based work with the opportunity for continued employment across multiple projects for dependable employees who perform well.
