Journeyman Electrician

Description

We are looking to add an experienced, journeyman-level commercial electrician to our team.

This is not a one-day labor call. We are looking for a dependable electrician who wants consistent commercial work, takes pride in a clean installation, and can become a go-to person as our workload grows.

Most work is in the Raleigh-Durham area. You must be able to report directly to the assigned jobsite each day. Our projects and job locations can change, so reliable transportation is required. Having a pickup truck or work truck is a major plus.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Commercial electrical installation and service work
  • EMT and rigid conduit work, wire pulls, lighting, devices, panels, and equipment connections
  • Reading plans, laying out work, solving field problems, and keeping installations neat
  • Working independently when needed while communicating well with the crew and project lead
  • Occasional travel for project work; willingness to travel is required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Journeyman-level commercial electrical experience
  • Solid conduit experience and the ability to work from drawings
  • A dependable vehicle and the ability to get yourself to job sites
  • Pickup truck or work truck preferred
  • Your own basic electrical hand tools and proper PPE
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Professional attitude, steady attendance, and no-drama work ethic
  • Willingness to travel occasionally when project needs require it
WHAT WE OFFER:
  • Long-term opportunity with a growing commercial electrical contractor
  • Varied commercial work—not the same repetitive task every day
  • Pay based on proven ability, experience, reliability, and production
  • Opportunity for more responsibility for the right electrician
PAY:
$[INSERT HOURLY RATE OR RANGE] per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.

TO APPLY:

Reply with your name, phone number, a short summary of your commercial experience, and whether you have a pickup truck or work truck.
