Commercial Finish Carpenter(s) - San Jose

We are looking to fill two positions on a high-end commercial project in downtown San Jose.

The scope of work includes architectural paneling, cabinetry, trim, millwork installation, and finish carpentry throughout lobby and public spaces. All materials are pre-fabricated and require skilled installation, field modifications, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of commercial finish carpentry practices.

Positions Available:

• Journeyman Finish Carpenter (1)
• Skilled Apprentice / Carpenter Helper (1)

Ideal Journeyman Qualifications:

• Strong commercial finish carpentry background
• Experience installing architectural millwork, cabinetry, paneling, trim, and related finishes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Comfortable making field modifications to achieve proper fit, function, and appearance
• Ability to work independently while maintaining production and quality standards
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Ideal Apprentice Qualifications:

• Prior finish carpentry experience preferred
• Familiarity with commercial job sites
• Able to accurately measure, cut, assemble, and assist with installations
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced carpenters
• Reliable and punctual

This is not framing, drywall, rough carpentry, demolition, or general labor work. We are specifically looking for individuals with finish carpentry and millwork installation experience, preferably in commercial, hospitality, corporate, healthcare, or other high-end interior environments.

• Downtown San Jose
• Ample on-site parking within the building and parking structure
• Soft start anticipated 6/16
• Full production beginning Monday 6/22
