We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service/Maintenance Technician for a dedicated assignment at a large commercial facility in San Antonio.

This position will primarily focus on preventive maintenance, but we are looking for a skilled technician who can also independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment when issues are identified.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of commercial HVAC experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and is comfortable working independently in an active commercial facility.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems and equipment
Inspect HVAC equipment and identify potential mechanical or operational issues
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system problems
Perform necessary repairs and corrective maintenance
Test equipment to ensure proper operation following maintenance or repairs
Document completed maintenance, repairs, and identified issues as required
Follow site safety procedures and facility requirements
Maintain a professional and dependable presence at the assigned facility
Communicate equipment concerns and repair needs appropriately
Requirements

3–5 years of commercial HVAC experience required
EPA Universal Certification required
Strong preventive maintenance experience
Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to independently perform HVAC repairs
Experience working with commercial HVAC equipment and systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Dependable attendance and ability to commit to the full assignment
Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week on a day shift
Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman-level HVAC experience

Previous experience servicing large commercial or industrial facilities
Previous experience working at Amazon facilities
Existing Avetta onboarding, training, or qualification
Avetta experience is preferred but not necessarily required. Candidates who otherwise meet the HVAC experience and certification requirements are encouraged to apply.

This is not an entry-level HVAC position. We need a technician who is experienced enough to take ownership of the site's HVAC maintenance needs and confidently determine the appropriate course of action when equipment problems arise.

The selected technician will be dedicated to this location for the duration of the assignment, so reliability and commitment are extremely important.
