Arrowhead Corp | Chandler, Arizona | Full-time | On-site | National travel required
Arrowhead is looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to run commercial technology installations, lead crews, and manage subcontractors. You should be able to walk an unfamiliar site, determine how equipment should be mounted and connected, plan the work, and make sure it is completed correctly.
We deploy RFID systems, antennas, readers, enclosures, industrial technology, and supporting infrastructure in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, retail environments, and data centers. Arrowhead brings more than 35 years of enterprise technology experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation projects from site survey through completion and customer handoff.
- Recruit, qualify, contract, and coordinate subcontractor teams; direct internal crews and control labor costs.
- Plan equipment mounting on concrete, masonry, walls, steel framing, ceilings, and commercial structures. Select suitable anchors, fasteners, brackets, Unistrut, and supports.
- Oversee reader, antenna, enclosure, fixture, conduit, and cabling installations within site requirements and approved designs.
- Coordinate low-voltage cabling, Ethernet, PoE, network connections, power needs, and licensed electrical contractors where required.
- Prepare labor estimates, material lists, schedules, equipment and lift requirements, and travel plans.
- Manage job-site safety, workmanship, scope changes, punch lists, and customer communication.
- Solve installation problems in the field and coordinate technical questions with engineering.
- Maintain installation photos, as-built documentation, completion reports, and customer sign-offs.
- Five or more years of commercial installation, field operations, construction supervision, or low-voltage experience, including crew leadership.
- Practical knowledge of mounting, drilling, anchors, fasteners, enclosures, conduit, and commercial installation materials.
- Experience managing subcontractors and estimating labor and materials.
- Comfortable reading drawings, using tools and lifts, and working in active commercial or industrial facilities.
- Able to organize crews, make sound field decisions, and communicate professionally with customers.
- Willingness to travel nationally as project schedules require.
Commercial security and access control, structured cabling, audiovisual systems, warehouse automation, industrial equipment, or commercial electrical contracting. Multi-site deployment experience, OSHA training, and lift training are preferred. RFID experience is helpful and can be learned.
A degree and electrical license are not required. You must understand when licensed trades, permits, inspections, or engineering review are needed and coordinate that work appropriately.
Location and work arrangement
Based in Chandler, Arizona, with office planning and direct involvement at customer sites. Travel frequency varies by project. You do not need to personally perform every installation, but you must have enough hands-on experience to judge workmanship and step in when needed.
Compensation
Preliminary base salary range: $70,000–$125,000 annually, depending on relevant experience with retirement, benefits and annual bonuses.
