We are looking for a skilled Custom Millwork Finisher who takes pride in delivering high-quality, precision finishes on custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, furniture, and specialty wood products. If you have a sharp eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a passion for turning raw wood into beautiful finished pieces, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare wood surfaces (sanding, filling, cleaning) to ensure a flawless foundation for finishing
• Apply stains, dyes, paints, glazes, lacquers, varnishes, and clear coats using spray equipment, brushes, and hand techniques
• Match colors and finishes to samples or customer specifications with accuracy and consistency
• Perform touch-ups, repairs, and final detailing on completed millwork
• Maintain finishing equipment, spray booths, and a clean, organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of finishes, solvents, and PPE
• Collaborate with fabricators, project managers, and designers to meet quality standards and deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a millwork, cabinetry, or furniture finisher (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of wood species, grain patterns, and finishing materials/techniques
• Ability to achieve consistent, high-end results with both traditional and modern finishing methods
• Comfortable working with spray guns, HVLP systems, and hand-finishing tools
• Attention to detail, patience, and pride in craftsmanship
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a production environment
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
