POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are a growing commercial painting and carpentry contractor looking for a motivated Painter who wants more than just a job. RESPONSIBILITIES
-Coordinate daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
-Perform quality commercial painting work while maintaining high safety standards.
-Communicate with foreman and/or project managers regarding job progress and material needs.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
-Ensure work is completed accurately and meets company quality standards.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (SOME OR ALL)
-Spraying & Rolling
- Surface preparation, including taping, spackling, sanding, scraping, caulking, patching, and priming
- Getting new drywall to paint ready condition
- Operating lifts, and experience with scaffolding, ladders, and other painting equipment
- Experience painting drywall, metal, doors, frames, ceilings, concrete, and other commercial surfaces
- Ability to properly protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and finished surfaces
- Interior & Exterior painting
-Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices.
-Ability to read blueprints and layout work.
-Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
-Ability to pass background check
-Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on ladders and lifts.
