Rudy’s Commercial Refrigeration, Inc. has been manufacturing walk-in coolers and freezers in Northern California since 1947. We’re not a service company reselling someone else’s box — we build them in our own San Pablo factory and buy our refrigeration systems direct OEM. That matters for what we can pay you.
WHAT NO SERVICE COMPANY CAN OFFER YOU
You’re in front of customers all day. You see the failing 20-year-old box, the door that won’t seal, the condensing unit on its last legs. Bring us that sale and you earn 8% of it — the box, the doors, and the refrigeration system. Not 8% of a slice. 8% of the whole job.
Because we’re the manufacturer, there’s no middleman margin sitting between you and that commission. On a walk-in package, that’s thousands of dollars per sale to a driven person who knows what he’s looking at. Nobody else in this market can offer it, because nobody else owns the factory.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Install, start up, and service walk-in cooler and freezer systems
- Braze copper line sets, pull vacuums, charge systems
- Set and wire condensing units and evaporator coils (Heatcraft, Larkin, Russell)
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, defrost, and refrigerant issues
- Work commercial accounts throughout the Bay Area and Northern California
- 5+ years commercial refrigeration experience
- EPA 608 Universal certification
- Strong brazing; comfortable reading wiring diagrams
- Valid CA driver’s license, clean record
- Own hand tools
- Professional with customers, works independently on site
- Eyes open for opportunity — we pay you for it
- $42–$55/hr depending on experience
- 8% commission on walk-in sales you bring in — box, doors, and refrigeration
