TMS Contracting is expanding and looking for skilled commercial construction professionals to join our team.
We are a commercial construction company specializing in retail remodels, pharmacy remodels, restaurant renovations, tenant improvements, fixture installation, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, millwork, acoustical ceilings, punch work, and general commercial construction projects throughout the United States.
We are looking for experienced individuals who take pride in their work, can work independently, and want to be part of a growing company. This is a hands-on position for skilled tradespeople, not a management-only role.
What We're Looking For:
- Commercial construction experience
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Drywall and finishing
- Painting
- Finish carpentry
- Millwork installation
- Fixture installation
- Acoustical ceilings
- General commercial remodeling
- Ability to read plans is a plus; follow project scopes
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable and dependable
- Professional attitude and communication skills
- Ability to solve problems in the field
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel when needed (must have reliable transportation)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Performing hands-on commercial construction work
- Installing fixtures, millwork, doors, drywall, ceilings, and finishes
- Painting, patching, and completing punch work
- Working with project managers and other trades to complete projects
- Maintaining quality standards and jobsite professionalism
- Completing daily reports and project documentation when required
Growth Opportunity:
We value people who want to grow. While this position is primarily a working role, individuals who demonstrate leadership, reliability, and strong trade skills may have opportunities to advance into Lead Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Project Management positions as the company continues to expand.
Travel:
Current work includes both local and traveling projects. Some projects require overnight travel for several days or weeks at a time. Travel expenses are paid on qualifying projects.
Compensation:
1099 - Pay is bi-weekly; Pay by check.
Pay is based on experience, skill level, work ethic, and overall ability.
We are looking for quality people and are willing to compensate accordingly.
