Lead Commercial Roofer – Advancement to Project Manager

Full-Time Position | Houston and Surrounding Areas

Growing family-owned roofing company is seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Roofing Technician to help build and lead a highly productive team of professional commercial roofers.

Our company is expanding and scaling multiple roofing divisions. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a proven commercial roofer who wants to advance into Project Management and Senior Management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead commercial roof replacement projects throughout Houston and surrounding areas.
• Install and supervise TPO and modified bitumen roofing systems.
• Recruit, organize, train, and supervise a professional commercial roofing crew.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, manufacturer specifications, and jobsite safety requirements.
• Inspect commercial roofs and identify leaks, deficiencies, and repair requirements.
• Help establish and grow our commercial roof repair, service, and preventive-maintenance division.
• Train technicians in commercial roof repairs, maintenance procedures, and quality control.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, labor, schedules, and daily jobsite production.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and company management.
• Complete jobsite photographs, documentation, and daily progress reports.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TPO and modified bitumen roofing systems.
• Experience supervising and training commercial roofing crews.
• Knowledge of commercial roof repairs, leak detection, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, workmanship, productivity, and customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work full-time and travel to projects throughout Houston and surrounding areas.
