Commercial Roofing Foreman - Service Department

We are growing and seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman for our Service Department.

About us, Stone Roofing has been a full-service industrial and commercial roofing contractor for over 90 years. We specialize in commercial/industrial flat re-roofing, repairs, new construction and maintenance in SoCal and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Repair commercial roofing systems ( PVC, TPO, BUR, COATINGS, FOAM, etc)
• Hot-air weld seams and detail on varied systems
• Ensure that all roofing work performed is of the highest quality
• Oversee and troubleshoot repair or maintenance on existing roofing systems
• Help ensure job efficiency and safety
• Ability to understand different roof systems and install procedures per NRCA and/or manufacturer's requirements
• Manage job site from start to finish (ensure all materials are accounted for, maintain communication with Superintendent/office, fill out daily reports and timecards)
• Familiarity with CAL/OSHA Regulations

Qualifications/Experience:

• Commercial Roofing experience- 5 year minimum. Prior foreman experience in roofing is a plus.
• Experience with various single-ply membranes. (TPO, TPA, PVC)
• Ability to perform hot-work procedures for BUR/MOD/capsheet roof systems.
• Able to use a hand hot-air welder.
• Have the ability to understand and follow specifications set forth by material manufacturer
• Investigate, identify, and repair leaks on leak calls during rainy season
• Customer service skills with General Contractors and clients

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required:

• Previous commercial roofing / commercial construction experience
• Must be comfortable with standing/walking/kneeling on roofs, climbing ladders, etc.
• Ability to lift, transport and install heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally
• Willingness to work with a team
• Communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to fill out paperwork, photograph, and upload documentation via mobile app
• Professional attitude
• Quality work ethic
• Understanding of the value of customer service
• Valid California Driver’s license
• Necessary documentation and authorization to work in the United States

Hourly Rate Range: $ 30 to 40 Depending on Experience
