Commercial Service Plumber – Experienced

Banning and Son Inc. is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Plumber to join our team. We are an established San Diego County contractor in business since 2000 and are expanding our commercial and public-works plumbing operations.

We are looking for a plumber who is experienced, dependable, professional, and comfortable troubleshooting and completing service and repair work independently.

Experience should include:

Commercial plumbing service and repair

Drain cleaning and sewer stoppages
Urinal and toilet repairs
Faucets, flush valves and other commercial fixtures
Troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing problems
Water and sewer leak detection and repair
Water line and sewer line repairs
Commercial water heater repair and replacement
Sewer and drain line repairs
Hydro-jetting and/or camera inspection experience
Working in occupied commercial facilities
Reading plans and identifying existing plumbing systems
Emergency and on-call plumbing service

Preferred Qualifications:

Several years of commercial/service plumbing experience

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers
Public works and/or prevailing-wage experience is a plus
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Professional appearance and dependable work history

Our plumbers may work in a variety of facilities throughout San Diego County, including commercial buildings, government facilities, schools, hospitals and other public facilities.

Pay: Competitive and based on experience. Prevailing-wage rates apply when working on qualifying public-works projects.

Schedule: Full-time, with availability for occasional after-hours/on-call service.
