Commercial Sheet Metal Duct installers

Large Mechanical company is looking for sheet metal duct mechanics and helpers for jobs in the greater New Orleans area. Job offers great benefits, competitive pay, prevailing wage, travel pay and per diem. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years installing duct on commercial jobs. Must be able to:

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans

Fabricate, assemble, and install HVAC ductwork and sheet-metal components

Install spiral, rectangular, and welded duct systems

Measure, cut, bend, fit, seal, and hang ductwork accurately

Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other jobsite equipment safely

Pay is $20-$28/ locally and up to $45/hourly travel or prevailing wage.
