Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial and Residential Electrician to install,
maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential homes and commercial
facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, adhering to electrical
codes, diagnosing electrical issues, and providing excellent customer service. This position
requires strong technical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently or as
part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems in
residential and commercial properties.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, lighting systems, and other
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Perform service upgrades, remodels, new construction wiring, and tenant improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, inspectors, and team members.
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and company vehicles safely.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather and job site conditions.
Minimum Requirements
• 3–5 years of electrical experience in residential and/or commercial electrical installations
and service work.
- Experience with:
- Residential new construction and remodels.
- Commercial tenant improvements and electrical maintenance.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Panel upgrades and service installations.
- Conduit bending and installation.
- Installation of lighting, receptacles, switches, and electrical equipment.
- 5+ years of combined residential and commercial electrical experience.
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent.
- Experience supervising apprentices or leading small crews.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient systems, generators, EV chargers, and smart-home
• Experience with low-voltage systems, fire alarms, or commercial controls.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.
