Concrete all levels - FOREMAN, JOURNEYMAN, APPRENTICE

We are looking for great foreman, journeyman and apprentice level concrete workers to join our hardworking crews.

FOREMAN

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in pre-job meetings making sure to thoroughly review plans and materials needed
• Ensure all labor is correctly disbursed on project
• Ensure all material is on jobsite when needed and check delivery to confirm accuracy
• Ensure jobsite is organized at all times and excess material is collected and stored
• Ensure all equipment is on jobsite when needed, report any malfunctions to Superintendent
• Ensure all foundations are properly laid out, per plans
• Ensure all elevations are correct, per plans
• Ensure all inspections are completed as required
• Ensure all documentation for job is complete
• Direct yard foreman to put all stored material back into inventory
• Confirm, initiate and execute change orders as required
• Conduct weekly tailgate meetings
• Evaluate lower branched employees and determine when replacements and/or additional workforce is needed
• Schedule lower branched employees
• Ensure all safety precautions are adhered to
• Ensure a good relationship and communication with Owner/Contractor
• Notify Superintendent of any potential problems and/or variances between jobsite conditions and plans

Qualifications:

• Previous concrete construction experience, supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with subordinates, superintendents, contractors, owner
• Ability to read plans
• Ability to organize and schedule to work most efficiently
• Ability to know and implement safety protocols
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds
• Must have a clean DMV record
• Must be able to pass drug testing
• Must be able to traverse potentially rugged terrain

JOURNEYMAN/APPRENTICE

Qualifications

• Journeyman: Previous concrete construction experience Apprentice: Previous concrete experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds
