We are a growing concrete coatings company looking for 2 experienced concrete coatings installers to join our installation team.

We are looking for skilled installers who can independently perform the complete garage/floor coating installation process — from surface preparation and moisture testing through the final clear topcoat.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Applicants should have hands-on experience with:

• Operating a commercial concrete floor grinder
• Diamond grinding and properly preparing concrete surfaces
• Using concrete dust collection/vacuum systems
• Performing and interpreting concrete moisture tests
• Identifying cracks, damage, contamination, and other surface-preparation issues
• Applying epoxy or polyaspartic basecoats
• Properly broadcasting decorative vinyl flakes
• Scraping/vacuuming excess flakes to achieve a consistent finish
• Applying clear polyaspartic or other protective topcoats
• Using squeegees, rollers, gauges, mixing equipment, chip brushes, and other coating tools
• Properly mixing two-component coating systems
• Maintaining clean, organized, professional jobsites
• Following manufacturer application specifications and safety procedures

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is:

• Experienced in residential or commercial concrete coatings
• Comfortable operating a commercial grinder without constant supervision
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in the finished product
• Physically capable of performing demanding flooring installation work
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with customers
• Able to work independently as well as part of a two-person installation crew
• Experienced working with epoxy, polyaspartic, flake systems, or similar flooring systems
• Able to maintain a clean and professional appearance on residential jobsites
• Has reliable transportation
• Has a valid driver’s license

Concrete coatings experience is strongly preferred. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants without actual experience operating a commercial concrete grinder and installing complete coating systems may not be considered.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Our installers will typically be responsible for the complete installation process, including:

1. Protecting surrounding areas and preparing the jobsite
2. Grinding and mechanically preparing concrete
3. Operating dust-control equipment
4. Performing moisture testing
5. Repairing minor cracks and surface imperfections
6. Mixing and applying the basecoat
7. Broadcasting vinyl flakes
8. Scraping and cleaning the coated surface
9. Applying the clear protective topcoat
10. Cleaning the jobsite and completing the project to company standards

Most projects are residential garage and concrete floor coating installations.

PAY & OPPORTUNITY

Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level.

Experienced installers who can take ownership of an entire installation from preparation through completion will be compensated accordingly.

There is also an opportunity for advancement into lead installer / crew leader positions as the company grows.
