Concrete Cutting & Core Drilling Operator – $30–$40/hr + OT

Advanced GPR Corporation is hiring an experienced Concrete Cutting and Core Drilling Operator for full-time commercial work throughout the Phoenix area and Arizona.

Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on verified experience

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Schedule: Full-time with overtime opportunities

IMPORTANT: This is not a general concrete laborer, concrete finishing, directional drilling, or entry-level position. Applicants must have professional, hands-on concrete core drilling and cutting experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform horizontal, vertical, angled, and overhead core drilling
• Operate wall saws, slab saws, hand saws, ring saws, and related cutting equipment
• Lay out cutting and coring locations accurately
• Select the appropriate bits, blades, anchors, equipment, and power requirements
• Recognize and avoid post-tension cables, rebar, conduits, utilities, and other embedded hazards
• Coordinate with GPR technicians, contractors, project managers, and other trades
• Control water, slurry, dust, debris, and concrete cores
• Inspect, clean, and maintain company equipment
• Complete work reports and document jobsite conditions
• Follow OSHA, company, customer, and jobsite safety requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum three years of professional concrete core drilling or cutting experience preferred
• Commercial construction experience required
• Experience operating professional core drills and concrete saws
• Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements, and perform jobsite layout
• Knowledge of concrete structures, reinforcing steel, post-tension systems, and embedded utilities
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot field conditions
• Ability to lift and move at least 75 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must be eligible for coverage under the company’s automobile insurance
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Early-morning starts and schedule flexibility may be required
