Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and skilled Concrete Finishers and Experienced Laborers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of concrete-related tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes, and assisting with general labor duties on construction sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial developments to renovation sites, while honing your skills in concrete work, masonry, and construction safety protocols. Your energy, attention to detail, and teamwork will be vital in delivering durable and visually appealing concrete surfaces that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare concrete forms and set up formwork according to blueprint specifications and technical drawings
Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Install rebar reinforcement and perform rebar tying to ensure structural integrity
Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using hand tools and finishing techniques
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately
Cut, shape, and install concrete components such as slabs, curbs, sidewalks, and flooring
Follow all safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards and protocols
Assist with demolition, renovation work, or masonry tasks as needed to support project progress
Perform heavy lifting tasks and operate heavy machinery in compliance with safety guidelines
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Qualifications

Experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or laboring roles
Familiarity with concrete forming, pouring, cutting, finishing, and rebar installation methods is highly desired
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment safely
Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols
Basic mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
Construction workplace safety certification or willingness to obtain required safety training
