Talent Corps is hiring experienced Concrete Finishers / Finish Carpenters for a commercial construction project in Austin, TX. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who can perform quality concrete finishing work and meet production expectations on an active jobs site.

Responsibilities

Finish and smooth concrete surfaces to specified levels and grades
Perform concrete patching, edging, floating, troweling, and finishing
Set, align, and adjust forms as needed
Read and follow construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Assist with layout and preparation of concrete work
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all site safety requirements and PPE policies
Work effectively with the crew and site supervision

Qualifications

Previous commercial construction experience required
Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher, Finish Carpenter, or similar trade
Ability to read and understand construction plans
Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and tools
Reliable transportation to the jobsite
Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks
Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts
OSHA 10 certification is preferred
Must have required PPE and basic hand tools

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry construction materials
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely perform repetitive construction tasks
