Concrete Finisher Laborer

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flatwork and foundation concrete finishing, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety. This role requires a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to completing projects efficiently and to high standards. Prior experience in framing or general construction is a plus, but a strong focus on concrete finishing is essential.

Responsibilities:

Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members
Perform concrete pouring for foundations, flatwork, and other structures with precision and attention to detail
Install rebar according to project specifications to ensure structural integrity
Construct formwork necessary for concrete placement, ensuring proper alignment and stability
Finish concrete surfaces to meet quality standards, including smoothing, leveling, and texturing as required
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Take pride in producing high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations

Qualifications:

Proven experience in concrete finishing, particularly in flatwork and foundation pouring
Ability to follow safety protocols diligently at all times
Strong work ethic with a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
Experience with rebar installation and formwork construction preferred
General construction experience is a plus but not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates strong concrete finishing skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently every day with minimal supervision
A positive attitude and commitment to doing quality work with attention to detail

Experience:

Concrete finishing: 5 years (Preferred)
