Concrete finisher/laborer

Location: Middleville, MI

Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience, $26-$36
Schedule: Full-time | Seasonal with opportunity for year-round work

Job Description:

We are a growing residential concrete company looking for a skilled laborer with hands-on experience in residential flatwork. This position is ideal for someone who understands driveway, sidewalk, patio, garage floor, and flatwork and takes pride in clean, professional results at homeowners’ properties.

Responsibilities:

• Form, pour, and finish residential concrete projects (driveways, sidewalks, patios, garage floors, steps, etc.)
• Perform finishing tasks including screeding, bull floating, edging, hand troweling, and broom finishes
• Assist with forming, grading, and site prep and clean up around existing homes
• Operate concrete tools and equipment such as power trowels, cut-off saws, vibrators, and plate compactors (experience is a plus)
• Maintain a clean, respectful jobsite around customers’ homes
• Follow safety procedures and work efficiently with a small crew

Requirements:

• Previous residential concrete experience preferred
• Concrete finishing experience strongly preferred
• Equipment operating experience is a plus, CDL is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and consistent timely attendance
