We are actively hiring experienced Concrete Form Carpenters and Concrete Finishers for structural, civil, airfield, and commercial concrete projects across Alaska. *NOT entry Level Positions*

πŸ”Ή ADVANCED FORM CARPENTER
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • Deep knowledge of concrete form carpentry β€” footings, walls, gang forms, columns, and more
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with civil/DOT, airfield (FAA), structural, and commercial concrete
  • Competent with job-built forms, modular handset systems, and gang forming systems
  • Ability to lay out off a grid line, find square, lay out a building, plumb corners, and set elevations
  • Familiar with dowel placement, joint assembly, and construction sequencing
  • Ability to plan ahead and foresee problems before they happen
  • Strong communicator β€” up and down the chain of command
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred | ACI certification a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Concrete forming or fast-paced framing experience
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and move with a sense of purpose
  • Basic understanding of formwork, layout, and concrete placement
  • Able to perform physical labor in varying Alaska weather conditions
  • Strong team player β€” communicates up and down the chain of command
  • OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver’s license required

πŸ”Ή ADVANCED CONCRETE FINISHER
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
  • Deep knowledge of concrete finishing β€” sidewalks, curb and gutter, slabs-on-grade, airfield pavement, and structural decks
  • You know where problems are going to happen and how to manage them
  • Extremely competent with all finishing tools: bull float, fresno, hand trowel, power trowel (walk-behind and ride-on)
  • Ability to read and hold grade, establish slope, and finish to specified tolerances
  • Experience with flatwork, airfield paving, structural, and commercial concrete finishing
  • Deep knowledge of concrete mix behavior, set times, and how weather affects finishing windows β€” you’re ahead of the curve, not behind it
  • Familiar with surface texturing methods including broom, tined, stamped, and exposed aggregate finishes
  • Experience with joint sawing, sealing, and curing compound application
  • Ability to plan ahead and foresee problems before they happen
  • Strong communicator β€” up and down the chain of command
  • ACI Flatwork Finisher certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Concrete finishing and general concrete construction experience
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and move with a sense of purpose
  • Basic understanding of flatwork finishing, edging, and curing
  • Comfortable being uncomfortable β€” varying Alaska weather conditions and fast-paced environments
  • Strong team player β€” communicates up and down the chain of command
  • OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Not need to be babysat.
  • Be lawfully present and authorized to work in the USA
  • Have Valid Drivers License
  • Provide any hand tool that is carried on your person to perform your job. (we supply the rest)
  • Be willing to submit to and PASS a background check (required for Military installation work)

  • Be able to commit to the Alaska concrete season (May–Oct) or a portion of it
