Concrete Form Setter

Hello ATX, RedCap Staffing is currently for 20 Concrete Form Setters to start on a new project in about 2 weeks. We are having 2 shifts: 1st shift is from 5am - 330pm..... 2nd shift is from 4pm -230am.

Key Responsibilities

Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine exact dimensions, grade, and elevation.
Build and Assemble: Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, or prefabricated plastic forms using hand and power tools. Erect and Secure: Install formwork, aligning it plumb and level, and secure it with braces, stakes, tie rods, and bolts.
Reinforce: Assist with placing rebar and other reinforcement materials prior to concrete pours.
Strip and Clean: Dismantle and remove forms after the concrete cures, clean excess material, and stack components for future use.

Qualifications and Requirements Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in concrete construction, carpentry, or general contracting.
Skills: Proficient with hand and power tools, basic math, and blueprint reading.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting (often 50–75 lbs.), stand for long hours, and work in various outdoor weather conditions.
Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
