Construction Estimator – Assistant / Jr Level (Growth Opportunity)

Seeking a Construction Estimator looking for a career path...

We are a premier Southern California contractor specializing in civil and environmental construction. We are looking for an Assistant/Junior Construction Estimator to join our team and work directly under our Senior Estimator. You do NOT need prior environmental remediation experience. If you have strong core estimating skills in General Construction, Earthwork, Civil, or Utilities, we can teach you the environmental side.

What you’ll be doing:

• Digital quantity take-offs (Bluebeam/Excel)
• Requesting and reviewing vendor/subcontractor quotes
• Assisting in bid assembly for public works, commercial, and industrial projects
• Attending site walks and pre-bid meetings

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of estimating experience in civil, earthwork, or general contracting
• Strong plan-reading abilities and high attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel and digital takeoff tools
• Highly organized self-starter who wants to grow into a lead estimator role
