CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR – UNDERGROUND WET UTILITIES

Maxim Engineering is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator with at least 5 years of expertise in Underground Wet Utilities. This role is perfect for individuals aiming to develop a career within the comprehensive underground construction sector.
Compensation will be determined by your qualifications, attention to detail, and skills in estimating and problem-solving.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, standard drawings, materials, etc.
2. Advanced skills in Estimating software (HCSS preferred, Bluebeam, etc.).
3. Excellent communication skills with Owners, Engineers, Superintendents, Clients, etc.
4. Problem solving and analytical skills with a creative approach.
5. Previous work experience in underground wet utility projects.
6. Knowledgeable in the underground piping and mechanical equipment, concrete work, paving, etc.
7. Change Orders, RFI’s, Purchase Orders, Budgets, Cost Codes.
8. Review contracts documents, request for proposals, solicitations.
9. Subcontractor coordination with proposal and long lead items.
10. Documentation and reporting of current projects tracking communications, generate reports as needed.
11. Microsoft 365 skilled.
12. Public works and prevailing wage knowledge.
