Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Finish Carpenter for residential remodeling projects. Our construction company is a small boutique high-end company in the Truckee area. This role involves executing all phases of residential remodel work, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship, and organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise across various construction disciplines, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As a key team member, you will coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, working within the Truckee area

Responsibilities:

Execute all phases of residential remodel projects, including framing, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, trim work, siding, decking, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general construction tasks.

Manage small jobs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Work independently with or without detailed plans and directions, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the jobsite throughout each project.

Identify potential issues early in the construction process and propose practical solutions to keep projects on track.

Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Communicate progress and challenges clearly to team members to facilitate smooth project execution.

Experience:

Proven experience in residential remodeling construction, with a comprehensive understanding of various trades including framing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and finishing.
Demonstrated ability to lead a construction crew independently while managing multiple aspects of a project.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining jobsite safety and cleanliness.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify issues early and implement effective solutions.
Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers in a high-end boutique construction environment is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret plans or work independently without detailed instructions is highly desirable.
